I can't wait for this. This is one of the best up and coming bands around. I'd actually say they have established themselves as one of the best bands with their latest album Dominate. Quote: Writing of ADAGIO Upcoming album is done-New Album Name !!!!!
23-06-2006 : Stephan Forté has just finished the composition of Adagio's 4 th album "Archangels In Black" is the name of the upcoming Adagio album. Most of the songs are written. The album will feature 9 songs + 1 for Japan.As previously announced by the band, the compositions are the ultimate balance between melodic and extreme metal and can be considered as a more brutal vision of "Underworld" Recording sessions will start beggining of October. Wow thanks dude!I figured they would be working on something but didn't think it would be so soon(memories of waiting for the new Symphony X bring me to tears).Their first is still so dear to me,but Underworld is so damn good!I was disappointed with Dominate as it was more of a straightforward affair,whereas their prior works focused much more on the neo-classical wizardry I love.I love long songs too so yeah it was a win-win situation. If they hold true to that statement,then I will be a very happy camper as the new SX left me unsatisfied.And Stephan is pretty experienced having enjoyed messing around in grind,death etc earlier in his youth(still young obviously).I miss the old vox but the new guy is pretty fn good.Oh man now I'm getting psyched........ |

I saw these guys live opening for Kamelot, but was not very impressed. How do the albums sound? |
