Ken, I don't know how you find time to listen to all of the stuff you get...

Anyways, I haven't actually gotten these yet but I'm thinking about picking up the new Kalmah, Ensiferum--Iron, and Nightfall in Middle Earth.

I listen to music all the time. I watch little TV or movies, so if I'm awake, I usually have music playing. Plus, if you ever notice, I don't strictly buy metal music. I go through phases where I'll listen to genres only for a while, then switch. Everything gets equal play.

I hit Boston today. Here's the result:

Aerosmith - Just Push Play
Aerosmith - Get A Grip
Diecast - Tearing Down Your Blue Skies
Hundred Reasons - Two (EP)
Hunger, The - Tonight/Shoot To Kill (EP)
Helloween - I Want Out - Live (EP) *
Hest, Ari - The Green Room Sessions (EP)
Ill Nino - The Under Cover Sessions (EP)
Indukti - S.U.S.A.R.
Outpatience, The - Anxious Disease
Papineau, Lisa - Night Moves
Silent Civilian - Rebirth Of The Temple

* All $2 CDs except the Helloween album, which cost $8. Well worth it, though! I've been looking for that EP for ages.

Similar, but I think it's pretty bad.

I don't mind it they seem to be trying different things with some working better than others but it's not like their earlier stuff.

I actually like it better than their previous which was very good as well.
It will most likely make it in my top 5 albums of the year.

Now if Dark Tranquillity, Porcupine Tree, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Symphony X, Megadeth, Sirenia and Dream Theater could get their albums out and be as good as The Shadow Cabinet i'd be a happy man.

The new DT is awesome! The new Sirenia is great, but it is totally not like the previous albums. It's much more a goth-rock album than the doom-death goth stuff on the previous two albums and EP. Just a heads-up!

I got this in the mail today (which is actually yesterday now, but since I'm awake it's still today...ya dig?):

Various Artists - A Call To Irons: A Tribute To Iron Maiden Vol. 1 & 2 (2CD) *
Sky Cries Mary - Small Town (Limited to 500)

* From lala.com. I have the single CD of volume 1 already. It's just a Dwell Records covers CD, which usually have more shit covers than not (which is the case here). I figured I'd request volume two, buy a 2CD jewelcase and add volume 2 to the volume 1 case if I ever got it. Well, this dude sent all the artwork and BOTH CDs in one lala envelope! Totally awesome!
