I just got back with these:

Angel Dust - Bleed (w/Bonus Tracks)
Angra - Angel's Cry

Both were used for $6.99. I listened to Bleed on the way home, and wow! What a great album (at least the first half). It would seem that it's much better than Of Human Bondage, which is the only other album I own by them.

Now, the Angra album makes me laugh! This has got to be one of the gayest album covers I've ever seen! An angel statue—that doesn't appear to be crying!—holding a bouquet of rose in the middle of.......a wheat field? WTF?

Angels Cry...

...because we put them on so many lame album covers :P

Question: Which angel statue is better off, the one on Angra's Angels Cry cover or the one on Edguy's Theater of Salvation?

Is it me or is The Forgotten Tales one of the few B-side/alternate version collections that is considered by fans to be a true album within the band's discography? :D

Got these in the mail today:

Domine - Dragonlord (Tales of The Noble Steel)
Blind Guardian - A Twist In The Myth

I'd like to know how I ordered 2 albums on the 12th of this month and 2 albums on the 18th, all 4 from the same site, sensory, and recieve the 2 from the 18th first and still not recieve the ones from the 12th.. If I dont get my Savatage/Gamma Ray albums Im gonna piss angry kittens at everyone I see, I have the power.

EDIT: Just checked my email and got an answer to my question.. Apparently he sold the CD I purchased (HoTMK) at Progpower, haha. Thats ok though, I told him to just send it when he gets it back in stock, so alls well.. I must have my Savatage!

DragonForce - Valley of the Damned

I had previously avoided their debut because I heard the production was bad. Well, when the local store didn't have what I was looking for (Heavenly), I decided to get it, and I'm glad I did because the production wasn't that bad, and there are some good songs here - definitely DragonForce but before there were so many video game sound effects and blast beats.

Lateralus was about $20.00 at the store... Fuck that. =[

Instead of that, I bought:

Dream Theater -- When Dream And Day Unite

And so far, I'm not regretting it a bit.

Rhapsody - Dawn of Victory

With all the crap I talk about Rhapsody, I do like this particular album. It is the only one I can sit all the way through without becoming disinterested after a couple of songs.

Bleed is great, Enlighten the Darkness is fucking incrediable, Human Bondage is crap in my opinion, the band totally fell apart and it showed.
