Why should they change their style and music? There were hundreds of bands which were changing their style in the 90s and 90% of them went worse.

Everybody wished that Megadeth would put out another Peace Sells or Rust in Peace - what if they had put out records like this after 1990? They would be bashed, because, they went stale...

What do you want? Good records every 2 years, or evolution? You can't have everything...

Megadeth didn't start out by sucking

also there's plenty of bands who change and release good albums

what a crazy idea!

You strike me as a very limited person, Metalwarrior.

I really don't care if they stay the same or change it up. I just want the music to be good.

Its not so much the change as the variety. You can play very similar music across three albums and not have nearly every song follow the exact same structure/speed/everything.

Exactly, look at Iron Maiden. An entire career based on the same chord progression.

Oh my dear, sweet Lord.

That's the most phenomenally retarded thing I've ever seen in my life.

I can't believe anyone would ever approve that cover, it's blind-causingly awful!

Can't wait!

It would be interesting if they tried a bit of SciFi instead of the usually fantasy cheese, it would give me reason enough to listen to this album. The song titles sound typical Dragonforce-ish though so as most other people I will probably wait and hear what others say first.

You strike me as a very limited person, Metalwarrior.

Not really, because I listen to Iron Maiden, Metallica, Emperor, Darkthrone, Def Leppard, Guns n Roses, Aerosmith, Velvet Revolver, Sepultura, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Rage, AC/DC, Slayer, Grave Digger, Waltari, Judas Priest, Trivium, Bullet for my Valentine, Hypocrisy, Cradle of Filth, Paradise Lost; Dragonforce, Testament and so on. Many different groups with very different styles.

But I don't like if a band changes their style dramatically, because most of them get worse.

Best example: Paradise Lost. From a great Gothic Metal Band to a mediocre Depeche Mode clone. Or Megadeth/Metallica: From great Thrash Bands to mediocre Heavy Rock groups.

There is a reason why all of them are going back to the roots today....

Octavarius is the limited one on this forum. Limited in brain power, penis length, chin bone, zit medication, etc. Just ignore him.
