Kick ass Brainstorm news! (I still love this band.) In March, Hungry and Unholy will be re-released as double CDs. One CD will have the original, the other will have the remastered release—not sure what the point of this is, though. Hungry will also contain their 5th Season demo, six tracks—Live In Shame, Kamikaze, Up From The Ashes, Blind, Reach For The Sky, Liar's Edge (Alt. Version).

Unholy will be the same deal, plus their Heart Of Hate demo that includes Heart Of Hate and Valley Of The Kings. It will also include the Japanese bonus track Up From The Ashes, as well as their Promo '96 demo which includes The Other Side and Suck My Energy.

Plus they'll have a brand new album out this year! Fuck yeah!

I could use some more Brainstorm, only have Metus Mortis on up. Symphorce is ok but too much nu-nevermore sound in the music.

Unholy is really good. Hungry is hit or miss, and the production is pretty shoddy. They have a different singer, too. Worth buying, though. I only have Hungry on download. It's wicked hard to find.

Have you guys ever heard "Revenant," the bonus track from Ambiguity? If not, it's a must hear. I just got this version in the mail yesterday. Check it out:

REVENANT

Not quite the Brainstorm you're used to, huh? Haha. And according to the booklet, that is Andy on the verse vocals. :omfg:

Dude that was horrid. It sounds like Into Eternity or some crap like that, or a very weak Mercenary circa Everblack.

Hahaha. I actually like it, but obviously it's a bonus track for a reason.

If people like that style it is ok. Actually the riffs are Iced Earthy which is bizzare enough. lol

Musically they have a ton of songs like that. I'm just curious why they chose to do death metal vocals during the verse. The song could have been killer with normal vocals.

I have "Soul Temptation" & "Liquid Monster" and enjoy listening to these CD's all the time. They're a great band. I have one by the vocalists other band Symphorce. What do you think of them?

I love both bands, though I find Brainstorm to be much better. Symphorce just isn't as catchy to me, and I love a great hook.

So I'm planning on buying Soul Temptation, I was just wondering if the three bonus tracks on the Limited edition are worth the price? Any amazing songs among them?

If it has "Amarillo," don't bother. It's complete shit. It's a gay cover song, not worth any extra money.

If you're talking about the Japanese version—which I think you are—then two are live bonus tracks, not must-haves, and the other is a cover of a Vicious Rumors song called "Don't Wait For Me." I've not heard it, though. So I guess it all depends on the price. The album is awesome without bonus tracks.

Yeah, it's the Japanese version. Thanks, I think I'll get the normal package cause I'm not really into live songs.
