Just what I am supposed to see?

Btw, I disagree. Imho, 7th son was Maiden going downhill.

I disagree with you both. 7th son is slighty, but very slighty, better than Somewhere in time. But in no way Somewhere in Time is overrated. Both are fucking classics. As the five before them.

Let's face it, from their ST to Powerslave, Maiden's record was almost perfect.
Then Somewhere and 7th Son are slightly under.
After that, No Prayer, Fear, X Factor, Virtual XI... That a tired Iron Maiden. There are still a few good songs but those album are nowhere near the first 7 albums.
Since Dickinson came back, things improved a bit and Maiden's almost back at FOTD's level but still nowhere near the real classic.
For me, these are the first 5 and that's it.

Meh. Lumping No Prayer and Fear OTD in with the pieces of shit that are X and XI is a dreadful thing to do. Fine, NP and FOTD aren't as good, but they're still good.

Very very slightly. Almost, practically, at the same level.

Neh. X is better than NP and all FOTD minus the song FOTD, for example.

For the record I don't think SIT is over rated, I just think 7th Son's better. Should've been clearer really.

7th Son and Somewhere in Time are probably my two favorite Maiden albums. So sue me :P

They don't have the very best songs on them but I think they are slightly better overall.
