Because I can't resist:

Iron Maiden: 70/100
Killers: 65/100
Number of the Beast: 85/100
Piece of Mind: 85/100
Powerslave: 85/100
Somewhere in Time: 90/100
Seventh Son: 95/100
No prayer: 55/100
Fear of the Dark: 65/100
X Factor: 50/100
Virtual XI: 45/100
Brave New World: 70/100
Dance of Death: 70/100
A Matter of Life and Death: 55/100

That's my own, very personal, opinion.

Yeah but honestly I think most Maiden albums have atleast two filler tracks, which lowers the overall score. Some of the albums are big classics though, which would give them a better rating but I didn't take that into consideration.

Regarding A Matter of Life and Death I could never get into that album. The only song I like is For The Greater Good of God, which is brilliant, but the rest of the songs are boring, production is weak and Bruce doesn't sound very good at all.

And to be honest I'm not the huge Maiden fan I was a couple of years ago. With that being said, they are easily one of the very best live bands around.

Well I'm a big Maiden fanboy and it was Brave New World that got me into the whole Maiden/Metal thing. I'm a big Dickinson fan, but I'm not sayin the Di'Anno years weren't good. My pick, from the best to the least liked:

1. Powerslave
2. Number of the Beast
3. Piece of Mind
4. Somewhere in Time
5. Seventh Son of A Seventh Son
6. Brave New WOrld
7.Fear of the Dark
8. A Matter of Life and Death
9. Killers
10. Iron Maiden
11. X-Factor
12. Virtual XI
13. Dance of Death
14. No Prayer for the Dying

But my rates are for the albums as a whole, not that they were constructed with all extremely good/bad songs on that particular album. Just like Virtual XI. Not a good album for me, but 'The Clansman' fuckin pwns all the killer songs they have on Piece of Mind.

None of my ratings were.... I've known and loved Iron Maiden for more than 25 years now, I guess I'm entitled to have my disappointments with a band I supported for so long...

Last night I was flicking through the TV guide and I see a show on spontaneous human combustion and I think 'hell, I'll watch it' and guess who was presenting it? Bruce Dickinson! The show was fucking mental, it was a proper scientific show but with Bruce wearing a leather jacket whilst making stupid jokes and the music was early Maiden! Random and quality!
