is yngwie better in like, alcatrazz? and one fun thing aout rising force, i think jens johanssen plays on that...

Alcatrazz is a very underrated band.

Yeah but if you don't like Yngwie RF stuff you def will hate Alcatraz with Bonnet on vocals........ and it is very late 70's, early 80's hard rock. If you can take Fire Down Under from Riot then go ahaed and get Alcatraz, if you can't, don't.

Didn't Jorn Lande once since for Yngwie? Clearly not a shit vocalist.

Only for a couple of live shows, wich led to a hughe fight between Jorn and the Malmsteen family, apparently they were late with Jorns pay, he got mad at Yngwies wife and yngwie called the police saying that Jorn tried to beat his wife.

What's the best shit you've ever taken? Anyway you look at it, it's still shit. That's how I look at Yngwie's albums.

I think he's an amazing guitarist, but a crap songwriter. Unleash The Fury, though, is a great album name! 8)

I agree...

Well...obviously the debut is the best for it was innovative, revolutionary etc...Great stuff!!!

Facing The Animal has a nice hard rock fell, and Trilogy deals with 80's Pop in a great way...

The others are better or worse, but generaly most of them are nothing to write home about...Just senseless soloing and shit...

Most singers didn't use all of their vocal abilities when singing in Malmsteen's band...Mats Leven is the perfect example. Just check Abstrakt Algebra!!!

The "Jorn/Yngwie" thing wasn´t about a late salory! This time it actually was Jorns fault and not Yngwies that there was a fight. Jorn had signed a contract with Yngwie in order to fullfill the tour without interuptions by other bands/projects. Jorn broke this contract and acted really nasty and bad against both Yngwie and his family. Mostly it has been because of Yngwies behavior that has end up to members leaving his band but, when it comes to the "Jorn affair" Yngwie´s not to blame.

On the other hand, it seems like Yngwie has found the right musicians to work with because, he will most likely have the same line up on his next album as he did on "Attack" and "Unleash the fury" (Except for the change of keyboard players). He has never played with the same band 3 albums in a row before.....wonders never cease;)

Jorn does come across as a serious asshat. He's quit as many bands as Yngwie has hired vocalists.
