Don't you like Cartman?

To return to the topic, Cellador kicks ass.

A fast power metal band from America resembling the earlier days of Helloween.

Uh-no. not even close. Production/vocals/skills..etc.
I love the new Cellador but this is just anti-DF speaking. Re-listen. The hooks, melodies, vox range, Guitar playing(obviously) and overall catchiness is not close. Not even the band themselves would agree with this.

I really dig the cd of course. It is the only cd I have played in my car for the last week since I got it is. Lets not jump to ridiculous conclusions.

Uuuuh, what? We're talking about a guy's opinion here! He prefers the Cellador album to Inhuman Rampage.

Am I the only one here who thinks Cellador aren't that awesome and don't live up to the hype NESS created for them. Sure they are talented but Enter Deception is far from the 80+ mark, the production and the overall songwriting could have been better. The music is good but far from original or mind-blowing. The fact that i haven't heard a single Dragonforce song is a plus when listening Cellador, without always comparing them to DF. Right now i'm thinking more of a score around 70. With the talent these guys have should be no problem to release a much better second album.

Kind of simple really. The same company makes the majority of band shirts, wether it's Real Metal, Emocore, or pseudo-Punk Rock. I believe it's Giant Merchandising. I'm more shocked that people actually like Dragonfart.

I think they're a great band. Sure, not original, but with that speed they also understand melody and have some very memorable tracks. I think a score of 80 is very just, I'd give them an 85.

maybe everyone should come on august 6th into brooklyn and watch two great american power bands perform. Cellador and Suspyre to perform together for the first time! Hah. Check www.myspace.com/suspyre for more shows and info on this one. Hope to see everyone there.

Sorry for promoting here...but watching everyone talk about cellador I had to push it.

Cellador is a great new american band and I'm glad to see more coming out of this area. Cellador and Stride are just two. I want to see many more on the way...go America!

Wow! I would fucking love to go see that! We should turn it into a MR meet-up. Kayla, Mike, maybe Jay, myself, whoever else wants to go. That would be a sweet show, of course Sunday shows always suck for most people.

Sunday shows are among the least attractive, but it's a good show none the less. Let me know if anyone is on the way. I'm looking forward to meeting Cellador and playing with them. I expect it to be a awsome show.

I think people who appreciate death metal will appreciate Cellador more. Chris gets his influence from early Slayer, Carcass, Helloween, and NES video games. Those four = Cellador.

I'm beginning to hate Dragonforce and I've not even heard them. Now that they've somehow caught on slightly all the emo twatbags are using them as reference to every metal album out there. "Oh, they're too Dragonforcey" or "They sound like a bad version of Dragonforce" or "Dragonforce are gay. They sound like a gayer version of Dragonforce. That's pretty gay."

WTF? Just read the Blabbermouth review responses. It's annoying. I hate Dragonforce now! They're gay.

Well, I have a suggestion. Try listening to Dragonforce so then you can form an opinion and not base it on "emo twatbatgs."

Hahaha. Of course I will, I was completely joking! It is annoying, though. I mean, I have friends that aren't really into music and I'll play Iced Earth or Blind Guardian or Rage and they'll be like, "They sound like Metallica rip-offs!" WHAT?!?! Hahaha. I liken the Dragonforce phenomenon to something of that sort.

I will definitely check them out first before making a serious judgment.

Well the only reason I see for people, prefering death metal to like Cellador is because they haven't heard enough power metal to make the difference themselves, not so much because of the Slayer or Carcass influences. It's not like i'm criticizing the band (maybe only your over zealous praise). As a pm fan i like it, just not as much as to strike me as something that deserve such praise.

The prevailing opinion of Metal Hammer-fed emo cuntheads in the UK is that Dragonforce "saved" Power Metal - they brought it back man! No one has played shit like this for years!

Wankers. :x
