St. Anger is their only bad album. The rest is great.

lmao. Whatever fanboy.

When Cliff died the fucking band died with him. RIP Metallica, you did me good through HS.

Black album was for jocks and MTV boys and record labels (but I am glad Metallica got rich off of it)

AJFA was poorly produced and over long with good songs scattered through out it.

Load - A good slice of Modern dark hard rock, but shouldn't have been done under the Metallica banner. At least it was good and different

Re-load and all their other cash grabs outside of the first Gargage Days ep (which I have found memories of) no comment.

Please Metallica, isn't 20 years of soiling Cliff's memory and making a mockery of yourselves enough? Just go away.

Hardly. St. Anger is their only bad album. S&M was pretty shitty, too, but it's not a studio album so I'm not discussing it.

Funny. I didn't realize Cliff wrote all those early metal songs. Cliff is the only thing that died that day. Just one dude. All you idiots that talk about Cliff's death being the downfall of Metallica is about as dumb as saying DeGarmo is the only one that could save Queensryche! First off, none of you assholes know how Cliff would be today! He could have fucking quit the band and started a country rap group for all you fucking know, but using a dead guy is the only way you can feel like your argument is valid because you can speculate on what would have happened and the only thing others can do is refute that with more speculation. Fact: He's dead. Fact: You don't know shit about what he WOULD have done. Fact: That argument point is idiotic.

It's a great metal album. Your problem is that meatheads like it. Had they not liked it you'd call it a classic metal album.

Incorrect. 100%. That album has one of the best drum sounds of any metal album out there. That's a great album from start to finish.

I agree.

Reload was better than Load. What's wrong with you?

Metallica doesn't read this board. And again, you don't know shit about what Cliff would be doing now had he not died! Great bass player, but who wrote the fucking music?

Just go away.

Good advice. Heed it.

Hetfield's such a redneck...

And the song's starting...and the singing...

And it's fucking terrible. Metallica, you have sucked since the day you began, and will never be any good.

And to think I interrupted Forgotten Woods for this.

Does Kenny G get banned if he calls people idiots or starts incohernt flame wars over Metallica? I heard rumor this could happen to me. Is it true if he does it?

Sorry bro, again, Metallica died the day Cliff did for me. I am glad you enjoy their albums and they made a lot of money, the deserved for the 1st 3 albums. Nothing they ever did again after he died moved me or made me feel like the first 3. Again, it all boils down to when you discovered the band and what was your first experiance. I know people that love the black album and love AJFA (over long songs and shit bass sound obviously excluded) Let me guess, if PK was your first Priest then was black or AJFA your first Metallica, was Sandman the first song you heard? If not ok, your a different beast then me.

Metalicca is dead to me, why anyone even gives to shits about them and what they are doing now is beyond me. I care more about Aerosmith at this point probably.

You on the other hand, if you still enjoy them, go right on.

Aerosmith?! Dude, I'm trying to give you a chance here, but even I prefer Craptacular to some shitty Stones knock-off!

All I know is they haven't put out an album worth a shit since Cliff died outside of Load (which had nothing to do with what Metallica was). I just draw the conclusions from there. Obviously they turn out all right without him to you, to me they didn't.

You just don't get what this band was like in 82 or 83. I don't expect you too for the same reason I don't get how they could be relavant to you when you discovered them when they were already dead to me (unless I am wrong about that).

Different opinon man. Damn go talk to a chick or touch a boobie or hell pay for sex, a lot of this anger will go way. That always works for me when ever narrow minded Metal heads get me down and upset.

Leeee, putting up with your shit about whats power metal and what isnt is one thing...

but to say AJFA is shit is a fucking outrage. AJFA is a 100% perfect album from start to end, nothing less. All this crap about their songs being too long...i dont hear anyone complaining about the length of other Metallica long songs (the thing that should not be, disposable heroes, fade to black, welcome home, seek n destroy, etc).
AJFA is Metallica's best album....and i discovered them with the MOP album

And everyone saying that the new song is shit...dont forget that the song is incomplete and wont sound exactly the same way when the album is released....reserve negative judgement til then

I'm sorry, it's just boring. Take "One", and tell me you can listen to it more than once without losing interest.

I hate to agree with Leeee, but it is pretty bad. Even the more recent albums are better, at least they hold your interest...

Fenriz would vomit if he saw you, selling your ass like this. You should be ashamed.

Edit: What the fuck is that on Hetfield's face?!

Pfft. How is it that I'm selling my ass right now? Because I liked a new song from a band I used to like a lot?

You're a sellout for not liking an album like master of puppets in the first place.
