Ralf is a better singer but has never recorded an album as good as one that Kai has sung on.

I beg to differ

I consider Primal Fear's Nuclear Fire, Black Sun, Devils Ground and Seven Seals to be all better than Gamma Ray's last two albums, Majestic and No World Order.

Primal Fear=chain production recycled Judas Priestv material with zero originality;Nuclear Fire is a good album, once you've heard it ,you've heard everything you need to know about Primal Fear.
Black Sun and Devil's Ground=Nuclear Fire II and III.So i don't see much interest in this band;the original(Priest) is better, imo.

What about Seven Seals? They really refreshed their style. They added some elements that had been absent before. It's a different album than, let's say, Nuclear Fire. And I dare to say it's quite original :)

Simply i've got tired of this band(after 3 albums in a row that sounded the same)and didn't buy their new album.

Well do what he says and give it a try. I'm no great fan of Primal Fear either, but this new album is different to anything they've done before. It just sounds fresh and energetic, with more depth to it.

I read somewhere that only the title track was a bit different from the usual Primal Fear.

You're reading here that it goes further than that.

You never know who is worth trusting.

Anyway,i purchase very little albums that are less than ten years old.For example, today i'm planning to go to the records store, and the 2 names on my buying list are:Thunder & Lightning and Live&Dangerous(Thin Lizzy, for the onesided Edguy fans  ).
Classics first-that's still my philosophy.
