I really dont think one is heaps better than the other, both have very good songs and are quite similar.

Best tracks on Part 2 would be: I Walk To My Own Song, I'm Still Alive, Awaken The Giant & Dreamweaver. The only real average track on part 2 is Know The Difference, which is skip every time. Part 2 have a couple of ballad type tracks which can be good, such as Luminous. I think i would put Part 1 just ahead of Part 2, but not by much.

Stratovarius is pure crap.I own only three albums (but including Visions which is comonly considered the best),and i find them uninspired,pathetic,redundant,etc...

Forget about this band!Sonata Arctica is waaaaaaaaaaaay better!

I agree ,but that doesn't make Strato any better.Sonata are thousand times more inspired with everything :lyrics,melodies,harmony,vocals,leads.

I guess i'm too old for such a band....Just take a look at the lyrics in Black Diamond!

How are these lyrics so much better?


Also, lyrics are not to important to me. They can be a plus, but when they suck, I could care less as long as the music is good.

Hmph, make no excuses, they're a great band no matter what anyone says, and so is Sonata Arctica. Oh, and the lyrics rule, fuck the "adult" factor haha...
