Actually, me too. Although, I also agree that there are just those people that will never enjoy anything metal... just ask my wife.

Soooo true. My ex-gf was really into Addicted for not loving metal. And even certain tracks in really extreme genres would catch her ear so even amongst "headbanger" music there are songs that are easier on the ears; the example I have in my head is Pig Destroyer's Carrion Fairy. She was into that riff for sure but the rest of the album...nope.
