Ah, just what they needed, another song that just repeats the title of the track over and over again as the chorus.

Ridiculous video, awful song. It is now official, Iron Maiden should retire.

I'll normally defend Iron Maiden to hell and back, but that was dreadful, on a second watch.   I'm just hoping that that was a single cut, and the full song's like twice as long and has long instrumental bits.

Yes... very booring, in their line of putting the least interesting song in first place. El Dorado was far better than this one.

If El Dorado is far better then I don't want to touch this new song with a 10 foot pole.

El Dorado was a good (not great) song. This is...dreadful.

Oh god that song sucked. Though the solo was decent, and it might be better without retarded sci fi effects making the song impossible to hear. Brilliant idea, guys.

So, firstly, this theory is definitely correct. The song is listed as 8:40 but the video only goes for 5:08 and there's no music for the first 55 seconds.

Secondly....I actually like the song. Sorry.

And lastly...i still think Bruce's new singing voice sounds exactly like Ian Gillan.

I've had this discussion here before.

Everyone has these unrealistically high expectations for Iron Maiden. People seem to expect each new track released to explode with god's own light, healing children and bringing new life to hiterto barren lands.

I got over the idea of new Maiden being even nearly as good as old Maiden a long time ago. I just take it for what it is.

The song was okay, not nearly as bad as I expected.

I love new Maiden. In fact some of my favorite Maiden songs are off the last three albums. That being said, this song just seemed bland to me. I'm sure the album version will add some life, but this video cut was just weak.

Boring song. The solo was the worst they've ever recorded and I'm guessing from the guitar tone/style that it was Janick Gers. I'll say it again, Gers is awful-boot him out! Yes: I've reached my limit with Maiden's repetitive chorus' too.

The only good thing I can say about the song and video is that Eddie has never looked better.

This, exactly. Glad to hear the album version is longer and (fingers crossed) better.

The video is better than the song. The song doesnt suck, but....it's quite bland, which begs the question....why release this?

There is very little to get excited about here. Can't imagine the album will be much better. El Dorado was extraordinarly boring as well. I guess this is what we can expect from the one-time master's of heavy metal.

Because they don't realize they no longer "have it" and no one close to them has been kind enough to tell them the truth.I have always considered Maiden,in their prime, one of the greatest metal bands ever, but this[along with A matter of life and death],sucks IMHO.The songwriting is bland and Bruce's vocals are awful. His voice isn't what it used to be,but for me it's the melodys, more than his voice that is shit.
