Hey guys, right now I'm really into metal with neoclassical elements like Dark Moor or old COB, anyone knows any other bands in this style that are worth checking out?

Ark Storm, Stratovarius, Concerto Moon, Ring of Fire, Mark Boals, Tony Macalpine, Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore, Joey Tafolla, Jason Becker, Children of Bodom, Angra (mainly their first album), Magic Kindom, Adagio, Time Requiem and space odysee, Symphony X, You need to check out Ring of Fire with Boals! Oh, almost forgot Royal Hunt, and there are more for sure but they elude me right now.

I wouldn't really consider that neo-classical, but that is probably my all time favorite song nonetheless.

Going to be checking out Concerto Moon later today, tried finding some Time Requiem mp3s but it's proving difficult.

Thanks, it's ok, I got all their albums. I heard Concerto Moon's Rise of Ashes that came out this year, but I don't see the neoclassical elements.

Maybe I have to listen more, but if they're there, it's not as obvious as say, Dark Moor.

Actually yesterday I checked out Yngwie Malmsteen's Far Beyond the Sun and Arpeggios from Hell, and I have to say they bored the shit out of me. Even though he has incredible technique those tracks are just him shredding and no actual parts like in Vai or Satriani songs.
