Seriously, Into Eternity don't sound particularly whiny to me. I'll keep listening, in the hope that the whinyness makes itself manifest to me.
Disregard, Rad. They're more popular now, so he has to insult them.
Uhhh....yeah. Cause I'm a
shit-talker, right?
I guess we'll just ignore the fact that first time I even heard of the band was when I bought a Century Media compilation CD from 2004. The song was "The Beginning of the End"and the first thing I thought was "wow those clean vocals are shite." I listened to "The Scattering..." because I had heard they changed vocalist and hoped he would be an improvement but it was the exact same problem.
So you can go and raffle yourself, fudbaws.
Haha. You're SO predictable. I knew, out of all the replies, you would pluck mine out of the lot and reply to it. You come across about as happy as a Carribean sugar plantation slave circa 1780.
Uhhh yes, out of
all of those replies I chose to respond to the one the one that suggested I only dislike the band now what they are popular. Not because I have a genuine opinion on their pros and cons, but because I want to appear cool. What a shocker. By the way, are this band now popular? More popular than before? I really have no idea.

Ok I heard a few IE songs today and they were a lot better than I remembered. I still think some of the clean vocals (both singers) are just too sweet, but when they stick to the PM-style vocals its not bad. I'll need to steal one of their albums or something and make my mind up.
I love how at the time it was some clean vocals are "too sweet." Now they're "shite" and "faggy."

Now lets examine this bit by bit:
Ok I heard a few IE songs today and they were a lot better than I remembered. - that is, better than I remembered from my first experience of the band: "wow those clean vocals are shite."
I'll need to steal one of their albums or something and make my mind up - this I did (because I'm a no-good downloader and nowhere near the level of music fan you are, of course), "The Scattering..." and i did make my mind up. I concluded the vocals were almost always as shite as they were on my first impression of them.
You'll need to point out where I used the word "faggy." My first post in the topic was obviously a joke. As for changing my opinion from "too sweet" to "shite." Wow, imagine that, after listening to more of their material I formed a firmer opinion on the subject. Whatever next?
So I repeat: raffle thine self.
