This is actually a good site for me right now because I'm having trouble finding new power/prog metal to get because it's not as talked about here as is death and black metal.

... if you need specific recommendations, just email me (metalcdratings@yahoo.com). Simply tell me what you're looking for (and list a few bands as examples), and I'll do my best to give you a list of similar bands.

We just produced another site update, and we'll be rolling on our usual 2-week update cycle now...

Also, this update features (among many others, including Paragon, Epidemia, Gamma Ray, Brainstorm) the Armory debut (the "killer" debut I mentioned), which is a masterpiece right in the center of power metal!

Hey, I just read the Brainstorm review. Glad to see they've released another solid album so i'll be checking it out for sure.

I'll also be checking Armory just to hear how much of what you said is true. :)
