For anyone who's interested we have some uber rough samples from the new single/EP up on our Myspace. Those two songs are gonna be available as a free download when they're completed.

Cheers!

We have one of our songs, "The Scaven Cleaver" up for download here.

We'd appreciate it if you downloaded it and fired it about :).

Cheers!

Cheers man, glad you like it :). If you mean about the newer stuff on the Myspace, that's cause it's nowhere near finished ha ha! As for the older stuff, well this time I'm sitting in with the mixing and mastering cause there were things that I (amongst others) were't too kee on.

How's it going man? Yet to see you with Big Gee on vocals. Shame Wull left but at least you got a good replacement.

PS Good show at the Alestorm gig with AGB.

Cheers man! Hopefully we'll have another gig in June as we're doing the Bloodstock things again.

And my guitarist promised me he sent you that CD metal_xxx! The whole thing is on last.fm, I posted the link earlier in this thread if you're willing to use that instead. Sorry man!

Hah.. Well then... Is it downloadable? It'd be nice to have it on my MP3 at least.

Sounds interesting. Can't wait to hear a full release. I kinda likey but I'm not totally sold.

On a side note, Bal-Sagoth kicks ass.

When you say "Wintersun/Bal-Sagoth", is that supposed to mean that they have some similarity?

Maybe we're thinking of a different Bal-Sagoth... the one album I have by them (Cthonic Chronicles) really sucks. But Wintersun, on the other hand, is awesome.

Most folk have probably heard but Burning Earth split up this year, but to anyone who was in any way interested in the band, the full first E.P./mini album is available for download absolutely free.

This includes all 7 tracks, remastered and brightened by yours truly, a painstakingly reproduced replica of the CD booklet, lyric inlay, artwork and disc label (The original file was lost in a HDD crash!) for those who want to print it off for a CD case and a short band info file. I'd liked to have done a full remix of the tracks but the original Cubase sessions and audio files were unfortunately also lost in a HDD crash.

All songs are also now on the myspace page music player and there is a link to the download there, but as myspace is crap these days it may not allow the link, but it is definetly available on the Burning Earth Facebook page. Just do a search for Burning Earth in Facebook and you will find it. Feel free to copy, email and distribute as much as you like.

As for the second E.P., well that never saw the light of day but seeing as I wrote the songs for it and they were hardly used I'm using them with my New/Old project 'Dionysus' so they will be about in some form or another.

That's about it! Cheers!

Staresy
