Time Requiem - Miracle Man

This new album is a total dissapointment. I was so exited when I heard Goran Edman would be the new vocalist, he of 'Eclipse', Yngwie's best album imo. Unfortunately Goran turns out to be a has been. A very out of tune has been. Can't believe Richard Andersson tolerated this. Also gone is the heaviness and speed of previous albums. The guitarist tries his best to be Yngwie himself, and while he is good why not try being original. This album is definately not a step in the right direction.

Luca Turilli - Energy

Wow, this album blew me away. Excellent melodies, great vocals, huge chorusses, reminding me in a way of Nightwish.

Heathen Hoof - Heathen Hoof

Very impressive Finnish heavy metal. Sounds like it could've been recorded in England in the early 80's!

Their homepage has one song available for download.

I witnessed them live a little over a week ago, and they absolutely slayed.
