I got my order from CD Baby today.

Beyond Twilight - The Devil's Hall Of Fame
Bracewell, Lorna - God Forbid
Colporter - Chronicles (EP)
Colporter - Sovereign Mind
Deadly Sin - Sunborn
Destiny Calling - Destiny Calling (EP)
Empyria - The Legacy (w/Bonus Track)
Endless Torture - At War With War (EP)
Endless Torture - Killing Carols (EP)
Envy - Empyreal Progeny
Erotics, The - All That Glitters Is Dead
Heelwalkers, The - The Heelwalkers
Lanfear - Another Golden Rage
Lanfear - The Art Effect
Levee - All Night Long
Lowbuz - On The Inside (EP)
Paradygm - Paradygm (EP)
Scelerata - Darkness And Light
Shadows Of Eden - Dance Of The Gypsies Pt. 2 (EP)
Sonic Orchid - Sonic Orchid (EP)
Steel Reign - East Of Eden
The Jason Bonham Band - When You See The Sun **
Velocity - Activator (EP)

You can't beat the $5 price tag on those (all expect the Jon Bonham CD). A good lot of those bands are basically unknown to me, but the samples sounded good. They all came in jewelcases, except Endless Torture. Those two came with booklets and a high quality printed-on CDR. Great band for you thrash fans, too.

** Under $2 from SwapaCD.com.

Willdo.

Gamma Ray - Majestic
Kamelot - Ghost Opera (with DVD)

Is that GR a good place to start, Power fags and fagesses? I know that Kamelot's controversial, but I loved Epica and what I heard of The Black Halo...

Not really the best starting point for the Ramma Gays - there's nowt wrong with the album, it's just not classic Gamma Ray like Land of the Free, Somewhere Out in Space or even the s/t debut. Still, if you like what you hear, imagine that but even better. :)

At least you got one of the albums with Kai doing the vocals though, their work with Ralf Scheepers (s/t debut aside) was a little experimental and patchy, and not very representative of what the band's true sound is.

Last big haul of 2007:

Anthrax - Volume 8: The Threat Is Real **
Cold Existence, The - Beyond Comprehension (EP)
Cold Existence, The - The Essence
Epica - The Divine Conspiracy ***
Evemaster - MMVI Lacrimae Mundi
Exterminance - Vomiting The Trinity
Hirax - Not Dead Yet (w/Bonus Track)
Ignitor - Road Of Bones (full promo, but card stock and CD of a cheaper quality than retail version...looks fine, though) ***
In Element - Synthesis (Oscillating Through Waves Of Symmetry) (w/Bonus Tracks)
Light This City - Facing The Thousand ***
My Fate - Happiness Is Fiction
October 31 - No Survivors
October 31 - Stagefright
Overloaded - Regeneration (CD/DVD) ***
Skitzo - Five Point Containment ***
Stolen Babies - There Be Squabbles Ahead ***
Unshine - Earth Magick
Within Temptation - The Heart Of Everything ***
Wizzard - Songs Of Sins & Decadence

** Under $2 from SwapaCD.com.
*** Free for review (tradeables in red, since I already own them. Except for Exterminance, which was free and sucks horribly).

The rest of those are from Open Grave Records. There was a lovely smell of stale smoke on them. Awesome! Someone should tell that turd to keep his stock away from his dirty habit. Pretty nasty. Thankfully it was only the wrappings that stunk, and they were all wrapped. Stilll, pretty damn nasty.

And that makes 1,036 on the year so far. I've got a few stragglers in the mail somewhere and I'll probably buy a few with gift cards and such after Christmas, but clearly this year was ridiculous.

How's the Epica album that's on my wish list.

How is WDADU? I've been a bit put off because of the different singer.

It's still awesome. Their old singer sounds more like Geddy Lee, and the music is still amazing, Images and Words amazing.

I'd say it is. I loved that album, but a lot of Gamma Rayers did not. If you don't like it, check out what Rad suggested. My personal favorites though, Somewhere Out In Space, Power Plant, and Land of the Free. Btw, I don't care what anybody says the Scheepers era is awesome, especially Insanity and Genius.

Get the album with "Short As Hell" on it. That song is killer! :)

It's better than Grand Design. Haha. The Echoes Of Eternity album is excellent, man. $11.99 used is a high price, but the album is worth getting.
