imagine you are Steve Harris... Bruce has just left the band and you're left with a list of 5 singers

    1. Dee Snider
    2. Sebastian Bach
    3. Michael Kiske
    4. Ralf Scheepers
    5. Andre Matos

who would you choose and why ?

Assuming he could be kept under control, Kiske, for having moe versatility than the others. Failing that, Bach.

yeah, these are good points but... have you ever heard's Widowmaker's debut album ? Dee Snider does an amazing performance on it (like a Blaze with a clearer/more powerful voice)!

I prefer Andre Matos' voice to those of the other four people.

but we know his first choice should be Peter Hammill

Whil I like Andre's voice, he is too girly for Iron Maiden.

I have not heard Widowmaker, but I may have a sniff at it before I go see Twisted Sister in June.

Kiske, but if I was Bruce Dickinson I would do my best to have Lord Worm on vocals.

I hope this really happens. I mean Bruce leaving and puting more time/effort into his solo albums, that beat Maiden by miles. I need another Chemical Wedding. And not 6 years from now.

And then I'd go for Bach. He could be interesting, his voice has power and energy, which Maiden really needs right now. Besides, the man must be really sick of singing the same 20 years old bunch of Skid Row songs over and over again.

Hmmm old Dee would make a very interesting solution, in a really akward way, I mean. At least it would be fun to watch.

Matos sounds like a pussy( even if he has range, and is a talented musician); Kiske sounds too happy(though he's more powerfull than Matos) and he's not into heavy metal anymore; Scheepers sounds like a Halford clone, so it's not very good for Maiden.

I'd keep Bach and Snider for the final battle! I'd have a pretty hard time choosing! Bach has a great voice, actually i prefer his voice over Snider's, but it sounds a bit too "sexy" for Maiden( and anyway he looks too sexy for Maiden).

So my vote goes to Dee Fuckin Snider! But Harris wouldn't choose Snider, because he's american!

I think Kinske is the one that could fit better... But it could be incredible to see Maiden with Snider playing "We're not gonna take it" or "Stay Hungry".

I think Bach would suit best. Kiske would probably turn it down....
