I love this band! Couldn't believe it when they broke up, especialy after the masterpiece that is A Flame To The Ground Beneath..
Anyways, after like 5 years it seems they are still looking for a new singer...
I personaly can't think of anyone who could fill Daniel Heiman's shoes.

What do you guys think?

Lost Horizon are probably my favourite PM band. I reckon they should try to get the ex-DGM vocalist if they cant pull Daniel back into the fold.

PS - You guys listen to Screaming Symphony? 10:00pm tonight on PBSFM down in melbs.

I've got their first CD and it's quite good but nothing to rant and rave over, in my opinion. Great songs individually, but listened to as a whole it's just good IMO.

:omfg: No! An unheralded modern classic.

I doubt we'll ever see them again, which is a shame.

Everybody keeps saying that Lost Horizon equals lost hope nowadays but I'm optimistic about this. The main guy (I forget his name at the moment, it's a hard polish-like one) behind Lost Horizon said recently that song writing is going very well for the new album and even though they have not found an appropriate singer yet they could be using one or several while releasing songs during the course of the following months. He also specifically stated that a reunion (but on a different basis than permanent band singer) with Daniel Heiman is not at all improbable. I think I read all that on their website a few weeks ago so if you want you can have a look there.

Titta Tani from DGM is my pick. Hes recently left the band but has a good vocal range and a good clean voice.

I just can't picture this band without Heiman singing. Please just set aside your differences and make it happen.

I dunno if he could nail the highest notes, but otherwise a very good shout!

I said it before, and I'll say it again, Lost Horizon need to seek out Tony Moore of Riot fame. Daniel Heiman did a lot of things that were reminiscent of Moore, and I personally think he has the range to take over vocals quite nicely....that is if anyone could find him.

Find him?

He's been plugging away with Faith & Fire and has just recently rejoined Riot!

A Flame To The Ground Beneath is one of the best PM albums ever. It could be THE best. I know Daniel Heiman is THE best, it's a shame he left LH, Heed isn't exactly as good. I think LH should call it quit now, Daniel can't be replaced.

There's a rumor going around they'll be reuniting to complete this album. A reliable member of the Sweden Rock message board mentioned it. Take it for what it's worth though, but it got me hopeful.

I listened to their first album yesterday and liked it a lot more than I remember. It's short, but every real song is pretty much killer. It would be sweet if they got back together for another album.
