Cool tunes for those into the Rhapsody, Fairyland or Thy Majesty styles of power metal. Cool arrangements, choirs, etc.. Wish they would hurry and release an album

Good question. I dont understand it as well. To my knowledge using some searches, they have a self-financed Ep called -Angus. Apparantly they are an opening act for Angra at many places.
Read about them at the following Power Metal Board I found on accident;
http://music.mirkwood.net/

Neat site for news and info :)

The following site has 4 complete songs from that Demo I believe

I like the choral effect. I wonder how it will play out over a full length listen.

One thing though.. Bohemian Rhapsody absolutely does not need to be covered.. I would call it musical suicide.

I would like a metal band to cover Bohemian Rhapsody and just make it fucking sick, a heavy as hell musical! This cover is weak, especially that terrible keyboard.

I also think they use a drum machine, it doesn't seem too natural. They sound good though, not sure if I'd fork over much cash for it, but it does sound good. A little too soft, it would be much better with a heavier production.

Did anybody else notice that Andre Matos and Edu Falaschi were both singing on this? Matos on “The First Warrior” and Edu on “Again”. I would like this if it wasn't for that damn chick singer. :x Maybe I can get passed it, but she definitely takes away from the music.

What is up with all the music coming from Brazil lately? I wonder if Brazil is the future of metal.

I know I'm hardly a good judge of these things, but Krusader is a pretty damn metal name.

Thanx, checked that one out. Sounded quite good, nothing special though, but maybe somewhat better than average :) I liked the choirs though, very well done!

Apparently the album, also called "Angus", is coming out in summer this year, or that's how I understood it. But it only comes out in Brazil... :( (of course one can get it in mailorder then)

Ha, that "Power metal board" you happened to stumble upon is like WAY oldskool, haha!! It's good though :) But I haven't really never used it... It dates back to like 1998 or beyond, that's about when I found it (and power metal, yeii! :lol: )

I thought the clip from the cover of Bohemian Rhapsody sounded pretty one-on-one :roll: I found nothing to complain about it, other than maybe it's a bit redundant :? ...or maybe they did it just to showcase their talent, at least in the choir-work department :P

Well, because you mentioned it! :D Although I would have recognized Andre Matos anyway ;) but I don't think I would have known about Edu... I got no ill-feelings for the chick singer :( sounded pretty standard to me (at least on the clips I checked)...
