Why not listen to the music first without relying on a description?
There are too many other cds I'd rather spend my money on. I rely very much on descriptions and recommendations when I purchase cds.
I never do. You'll never know if you like something until you try it yourself. I usually try and download some music first, or if I can find it cheap enough used I'll pick something up on a whim, but I'm all for trying it out first then buying it. I hate paying $15 for a CD that is supposed to be good only to hate it.
Yeah, I hate that too.
That is why I have decided to get a file sharing program. Normally I am against downloading music, but I'm sick of buying a cd, that got great reviews, and ending up hating it.
I am partially against downloading music. See, I have over 4,000 actual CDs that I have paid for, whether used or new. I have some friend who have over 10,000 fucking MP3s and actually own like 3 CDs!! THAT IS FUCKING RIDICULOUS!!!
I will download a CD and listen to it until I can find it cheap, then I buy it. I buy too many CDs to always pay full price, so I buy used at record stores or on eBay, but to me a CDR is like a blow-up doll and a CD is a Real Doll (
http://www.realdoll.com). Hahahaha!
I also think as consumers we should be allowed to sample the product before buying it. We should be able to know what we're buying. Too many CDs just straight up suck to be expected to pay $15 or more these days for a shit product!
