Well this topic has undobtlly been posted before, bit it was before my time here though..

Well mine is "Imaginations".. Is has alot the aggresivity the way only the bards can do it, great lyrics as always, and good melodies, not one bad song IMO.. And it is not as overproduced as the later efforts from this band, which isnt really my thing... Ive listened to "A night..." so many times, but I just.... I have no idea what is wrong with it..

You are missing out.

1. Nightfall in Middle Earth
2. Imaginations From the Other Side
3. Somewhere Far Beyond
4. Batallions of Fear
5. A Night at the Opera
6. Tales From the Twilight World
7. Follow the Blind

All their albums are awesome, though.

LMAO I see everyone is divided on NATO as on other boards.

It's not a bad album guys granted not like Battalions or Nightfall but it still has got that BG feel to it.

Off topic for a minute what does everyone think of the new Demons And Wizards stuff I got this last month and liking it a lot.

I for one enjoy NATO. Not my favourite BG, nor do I think its "DA BESTEST METAL ALBUM EVER!" like many, but I do think its a very good listen.

As for the new Demons and Wizards, I found it to be pretty boring. A few good songs, but it didn't seem very inspired and just felt like they were going through the motions.

I think its a solid album, worthy of anything in the 80s. Not as good as the first IMO. Although, the title song kicks some serious ass.

Imaginations... this album will be forever in my top 5 metal albums.
I like NIME almost as much, but in completely different ways... being a Tolkien fanatic and all.

A Night at the Opera simply because And Then There Was Silence is one of the greatest songs ever made
