The cut off is 79.59, I'm sure Awake by Dream Theater runs to 78 or 79 minutes and soemthing seconds.

Maybe there's some sort of multimedia crap included that takes up extra space?

Hmm, maybe that's it.

Oh, and the 4 thing, they did that on Rabbit... too. But I'll be god damned if I don't love the song anyway. So I'm not really worried about that even though it's goofy.

Well, they could have fit all these songs on one CD with about 8 minutes to spare, my guess is that the story is better split up like that.

I mean, there could be many reasons. All the bonus tracks that all the other countries besides the US will get may have something to do with it, too. 2 bonus tracks would put the CD over 80 minutes, most likely. So, now there's plenty of room for bonuses, plus you'll have numerous song on each CD as opposed to one CD with every song and another with just one bonus track or whatever.

I don't really care. I'm lookinf forward to it! Is there a release date? Did I miss it?

"The new HELLOWEEN studio album will be titled 'Keeper Of The Seven Keys - The Legacy' and will be released on the 31st of October 2005."
That's what it says on their official site.

You're probably closer witht he bonus track idea - I seriously doubt the album has a concept after hearing Mrs God.

Really, i didn't knew Halloween was on the 31st (we don't celebrate Halloween here).
Very convenient I would say.It seems they are trying to make up for the low sales from the previous two albums.

Im not that excited about this, for me Helloween arent the same without Kai Hansen.

I think they've done alot of great music since Kai's and Kiske's departure, Better than Raw is one of my favorite albums.
And I also hear promise in their latest single, it doesn't sound like their last album, nor does it sound like their trying to emulate the Keeper I and II sound wich was a most welcome suprise.

Awake "only" clocks in at 75.00, atleast mine does. Though the longest single-CD album I have
Saviour Machine - Legend II is 79 minutes and 29 seconds long. I also think the tracks are divided like that to make room for bonustracks.

I too think they have done some good music since Kai left,a good example of that would be The Dark Ride, its just that it seems that the glory days of Helloween with Walls Of Jericho and The Keepers are long gone with kai hansen, since Gamma Ray has a style that is more similar to older helloween than helloween themselves. On a sider note i didnt said anything about Kiske,he was good but Andi Deris IMO is also a hell of a singer.

Helloween pretty much started all over again after Kusch and Deris joined - there is a definite progression that runs from Master of the Rings right the way through to The Dark Ride. It would seem Weiki is trying to go back to the older style more on the two newest albums.

I agree that Deris is a great singer - it was a bold move to bring in someone so different to Kiske when they could easily have brought in a clone. His voice is truly unique.
