New album Shadowmaker coming in 2012. How in the hell is this not posted anywhere on this site ? (unless i missed it or late ?). This is big news , at least to me.

Metalreviews is quite slow with news these days :lol: This should be on the front page.

Mmm, they are old, and we know that we are never gonna get another Under Jolly Roger or Black Hand Inn. Anyway, I'm kinda glad, and hope they come to México coz I've never seen them live.

Yeah they are old but also legends as far as i'm concerned. That alone is at least worthy of a mention of their comeback imho.

And yeah we may not get another UJR or BHI but the fact that i may be able to see them live one more time is enough for me to be sort of hyped about their return.

That's ridiculous.
Leaving two years ago with a big show at Wacken and returning now... Why didn't Rolf just said he needed a break?
It smells like a marketing coup.

And, on the musical level, the last few Running Wild albums have been awfully formulaic and rather full of crap.

As harsh as your words may be, I agree with you. The last good album was BHI and that was 17 years ago.
