Nice thought. Pretty damn cheesy though.

The song isn't that great, I agree. But I appreciate the effort :)

His solo material always leaves me wishing he had slightly catchier riffs and maybe a different producer. He certainly has the voice. It's just that extra spark that is missing.

Bad song, seems rushed, but I still like it. Yes, we need more Dio tributes.

Having to watch/listen to that made me really sad Dio died.

This wasn't rushed. He's been working on it for a few months now, at least. The timing of the video's release is kind of poor, but I blame the idiots running the label.

And no, it's not a great song, either. Cheesy lyrics aside. Good, though. Looking forward to the entire album.

I think it speaks from Jorn's heart on how much RJD was an influence to him and I'm sure Dio not only would have been appreciative of it but would have been flattered as well.

And yes this was being worked on even before Dio was diagnosed with cancer.

I do feel sorry for Jorn for those who are going to jump down his throat and blame him for cashing on Dio's death which wasn't Jorn's objective to begin with.

I didn't indicate it was rushed, I said it sounds rushed. Either way, its still cool for what it is.

Let's just say, hypothetically, that he does profit from this video. Why then would it matter whether he intended to or not. The very fact that he does profit from it is the important thing.

Profiting from Dio's death, whether intended or not, is quite despicable. Perhaps he should donate whatever proceeds are accumlated to cancer research. I wouldnt be suprised if that was the goal anyhow.

That is massive bullshit. You can't make a moral judgement unless it was deliberately intended to profit from Dio's death.

Indeed. The question isn't whether this Jorn fellow is profiting from Dio's passing - the question is, will he profit?

After hearing that song and seeing that video, there's no fucking way I'm downloading the album or willingly listening to anything Jorn is involved with.

Anybody dissapointed with the "Dio" release from Jorn? I was, the sogns just felt out of place, maybe because they we're more Dio obscured songs and not his most memorable stuff, I guess one good reason to listen to to it is for Lande's great voice.
