I'm doing an interview with the vocal maestro himself, W. Dane at this year's Tuska Open Air Metal Festival. You've always wanted to ask the man something?? Well now's your chance, amigo. Post any questions here and we'll pick the zaniest to accompany our own.

- Why is it that Nevermore's new album is a lot less progressive sounding than your previous efforts and has shorter songs?
- What did your solo experience brought to Nevermore on TOC?

When can we expect a new Sanctuary album? And are there plans for remasters of Refuge Denied and Into The Mirror Black?

Metalstorm, boith were recently reissued and packaged together, I don't know if it is a new master or not though, seem to recal that it is.

Questions:

Hi Warrel, I am a singer myself and have learned an immense amount from your work. Matricide may very well have been the first time I really hit my head voice, It was one of the first times a singer with a great range bridged the registers at a low enough frequency to allow me to learn the technique and expand my range, so thank you immensely.

I was wondering, when you sing in falsetto these days, do you cut off the airflow to your nasal passages? I notice a huge difference in tone compared to your vocals from Sanctuary. When I tried it for the first time, it got rid of my nasal and honky falsetto and replaced it with an extra octave of what sounds natural. I noticed your voice (in what sound like, to my ears) in falsetto has a much more linear quality. Has the vocal change been more of a stylistic decision on which registers to use or an improvement in technique?

Congrats on being one of the best. You vocal range has evolved within the last 20 years, in my opinion into almost like a piano. The notes transition so smooothly into another that I have a really hard time telling when it happens.

(Edited the last line, it may have been interpreted in a way that was unintended)

Actually I read reviews that say those weren't remasters just the 2 albums repackaged together.

Ask him what he thinks about Agent Steel reforming.

Whether he thinks Holy Terror will finally actually reform.

And how big of a dickhead Dave Mustaine was/is.

Describe The Obsidian Conspiracy for us... Musically speaking, what is it about?

What plans does Nevermore have for the future?

Which authors/poets are your biggest influences when writing lyrics?

...

Oh, wait, something zany?

...uh...

If you were a character from any of Shakespeare's plays, who would you be?
