Fuuuuuuck. R.I.P. Dio. A legend in every sense. This is a very sad day for music.

this is a truly sad moment. Not only was he one of the best and most innovative singers in rock history, but he was also one of the most genuinely wonderful human beings. The way he was with his fans is something that all musicians should emulate. This man's impact cannot be overstated. The metal world will not recuperate from this.

He will definitely be missed. Coincidentally (or not?), I listened to The Devil You Know for the first time this morning. 65 years old and still an amazing singer!

May he rest in peace.

So legendary he is, that there is two threads dedicated to him. One here and one in the news section.

...Tis a sad day for Heavy Metal...

there's another one in general music. I'm heartbroken about his death. RIP :'( it's ironic, I was just starting to get back into his music.

Not like it is a real surprise since we knew for a long time he was ill, but still, I can hardly believe it. RIP

Bad times for metal. First Peter Steele and now Dio. The voice of metal is no more. It's a sad day for metal. RIP (Return If Possible) Dio. The ideal way to salute you would be this - :dio:.
