I know I've been living under a massive rock to have just discovered this CD today but I had to mention it on here. Has anyone here heard it? I gave it a listen today via Lala and I was really impressed. The playing, lyrics, and of course Labrie's voice are all top notch.

Thoughts?

hmmm... haven't heard of it, but probably should have. Wuill check this out asap. You've given me great expectations when saying LaBrie's voice is top notch. What is the music like?

The music stays within the realm of Dream Theater and LaBrie's solo CD "Elements of Persuasion". It's progressive metal with all the standard trappings.

Great CD! It's like $4 at Laser's Edge (or was, anyway).

I found it on half.com for like $3 today. It sounds really great. Thanks for the heads up on Laser's Edge though.

I've never heard any of LeBrie's solo music before. But how is it?

If you're a Dream Theater fan you should have no issue enjoying this CD or "Elements of Persuasion". I've also heard James Labrie's "Mullmuzzler 2" and I really enjoyed that. Mullmuzzler has an Ayreon/Yes feel mixed in. I would say that 95% of the material on these three CD's is similar to that of Dream Theater or what would be described as progressive metal.

The Mullmuzzler discs are great, too. I'd also suggest checking out Explorer's Club. Two albums, Labrie sings on each, with other vocalists. Killer albums!
