Whoa, Ken vs Zad alert. Are they really incapable of sitting down together and talking it all over?

Tolkki is a nut job, man.

Damn right. He stabbed himself in Brazil for Christ sakes.

Now you're just being paranoid.

Did you see the photo? The gash just happened to be above his tattoo. It's too clean.

Isn't that from the period where he thought Jesus was talking to him or something?

Come on, everyone thinks Jesus talks to them. Joan Of Arc, she's a French national heroine, George W and Tony B, heck, talking to Jesus and expecting an answer is the cornerstone of the Christian faith.

No, it isn't.

Stratovarius are too good to end as a band from just this current issue. I think they should continue as a band, but without Tolkki. They can easily find another guitarist to replace him.

It seems that he alone has been causing all the tension within the band and really needs to step aside so Strato can finally move forward and release a decent album, which has been lacking in recent years

I just don't see the point of it. Strato didn't finish at their best, but carrying on without Tolkki would be like Iced Earth without Schaffer. If it's a different songwriting team they may as well rename the band.

Man, that would be funny.

At the same time though, it's just another member. I think by getting a new guitarist. they'll be better off.

Well, uh, the mental bastard is letting them do it. And giving them all the monies!

I really miss old Strato...
hope one day their legend can reemerge...
I personally consider Timo Tolkki is quite selfish and problematic.
Jens is my role model and God. :dio:

You are correct, he's very selfish to give the rights to all the music he created to the old members of Stratovarius. He's a regular bad boy!

TT is a crazy asshole, every time the other guys mentioned financial problems, he just said it was 'unfortunate.' Of course, we'll have to see if what he said about allowing them to keep the Strato moniker is true.

It's such a damn shame what they've become, and only a few days ago I discovered the awesome Visions, Episode and Elements albums. Though the last album was a festering turd.
