I've got the Helloween concert this Friday night. Just wondering if anyone has seen them yet on their Gambling With The Devil tour, could tell me a possible set-list?

Or what possible set-list do you think they would play?

I have seen them in Tilburg, they played a lot of 'hits' like: If I could fly, I can, etc. But I don't remember the exact setlist.
There was a funny sketch in the middle of the show and at the end 3 members from Gamma Ray joined Helloween for the last 2 songs.

I saw them in November, with Gamma Ray. I don't know if it's the same tour, but anyway, the Helloween setlist was this:

Walls Of Jericho
Crack The Riddle
Halloween
Soul Survivor
Eagle Fly Free
As Long As I Fall
March Of Time
A Tale That Wasn't Right
Paint A New World
Smoke On The Water
King For A Thousand years
We Burn
Dr. Stein
The Bells Of Seven Hells
------------------------
Meddley: I Can, Where The Rain Grows, Power, If I Can Fly, The Perfect Gentleman, Keeper Of The Seven Keys
------------------------
Future World
I Want Out

Last two songs together with Gamma Ray. Btw, GR played:

Heaven Can Wait
New World Order
Land Of The Free
Into The Storm
The Real Word
Fight
Heavy Metal Universe
Rebellion In Dreamland
The Silence
Ride The Sky
Valley Of The Kings
--------------
Send Me A Sign

I saw them live in Helsinki and Helloween had pretty much played the same thing over there. However, Gamma Ray had a rather different set list. They played Into the storm and Real World from their new album and played some Walls of Jericho Helloween medley there on their own which included almost the whole Ride the sky song. I don't remember the rest of the songs, but there was no valley of the kings :/

LOL

So that was you, eh?

I remember some dude wearing an Angra t-shirt.

You were right near me during the concert.

Was pretty good, eh? Didnt like some of the crowd though, were quite hostile in parts and i'm too old to be a part of those circle mosh pits some fans created throughout the night.

Gotta love the double encore...

From what i can remember, the setlist was as follows:

Halloween
Sole Survivor
As Long As I Fall
A Tale That Wasn't Right
King For A 1000 Years
Eagle Fly Free
The Bells Of The Seven Hells
If I Could Fly
Dr. Stein
I Can
Future World
I Want Out

I think I'm forgetting a song between Sole Survivor and As Long As I Fall. There was also an awesome drum solo in there somewhere too.

Yeah, i knew about WASP coming out here a while back and contemplated going to that, but i'm not the biggest fan of "The Crimson Idol" (ducks)...i only really like about 2 of the songs on that album. If it was anything else, then i would have gone, no questions asked.

Aside from them, i hear that we could possibly get Judas Priest coming here on their world-wide tour when the new album is released, and maybe Iced Earth too.....Australia is finally a metal destination once again :dio:

Very Interesting,

For me " The Crimson Idol" ia a real classic metal album Im surprised that ( you like about 2 of the songs on that album ).
Gee I was 20 when that came out and the first I wanted to do after listening to it was buy a Drumkit, I saved and saved and brought a Kit some time later.

With Priest not holding my breath, I saw them at The Palace StKilda in '98 with Ripper riding in on his Harley...But Bust a nut with Iced Earth I will be the first in line...

I know The Crimson Idol is a fan favourite, but the only songs I liked from it were Chainsaw Charlie and The Idol...

They are finally coming to North America!!!
It's been like 3 years i'm waiting for them to come, and they will finally come in september.

Montreal, Sept. 18, i'll be there!

Thanks for the clues on what could be the setlist, i can't wait to see Kai Hansen to join Helloween to sign a few songs.
