Their new album is very good, but Strong Arm of the Law, Wheels of Steel and Denim & Leather are better imo.

Yeah, those three albums are definitely the way to go, but even though subsequent albums may not be quite as consistent, they have TONS of awesome individual songs throughout their entire career. Unleash the Beast I'd say is the best thing they released after Denim and Leather and the only one that's about as solid as the old stuff throughout.

Anyways, song recommendations aside from Wheels/Strong Arm/Denim:

Stallions of the Highway
Power and the Glory
Crusader
Broken Heroes
Rock the Nations
Ride Like the Wind (cover song and far from metal but oh well)
Solid Ball of Rock
Nighthunter
Dogs of War
Terminal Velocity
All Guns Blazing
Killing Ground
Lionheart
Need for Speed

That's one per album. All are total grade A+ songs.

Need For Speed was what turned me onto them, after hearing it on a Terrorizer CD. I'd always kinda dismissed them as Priest-wannabe's before that, I really have to get that small part of my brain that goes 'but it's POWER METAL!!' silenced forever.

Shamefully enough, I only remember one song, Run ike The Wind.

Yeah they don't really sound anything like Priest. Need for Speed might be the heaviest song they've ever done.

But like I said in the other theead, get that double pack of Wheels of Steel & Strong Arm of the Law - you shan't regret it.

100% agree.

And listen to the song Crusader, the best Saxon song imo, in a not so good album.

They did that kind of thing quite a bit. Solid Baw of Rock, for instance.
