So he was helping Kai out on tour, what if he became permanent? Honestly, I think it'd be cool. I love Kai, as a vocalist, guitarist, musician... but I think if they were to get a vocalist replacment this would fit perfect.

Btw, he's the lead singer for Metalium.

This does sound pretty awesome. I have mixed feelings about someone else singing for Gamma Ray. i guess the only person I would have absolutely no problem with is Michael Kiske. Gamma Ray would basically be Keepers era Helloween. I definately think that Gamma Ray is more like the old Helloween than Helloween is.

Gamma Ray or not, one thing is clear: Basse is in dire need of a better band!

True what December said. Basse is the only guy with some talent in Metalium. Incubus (the new album) blows like all before it. If he joins Gamma Ray I think it would work great as long as he just sticks with the singing and Kai provides backing vocals on occasion.

Yeah, Metalium has been horrible with their last 4-5 albums.

I saw Basse singing for Firewind last year. I was thinking then how it would be cool if it became permanent but then Apollo came back....

It sounds surprisingly good. I wouldn't be totally against it, though I'd like to hear a better quality clip first.

Henning is a great vocalist. But the songs from Gamma Ray just woudln't be the same without Kai behind the mic.
There are a lot of other bands were Henning should fit right in.
I also think Henning is pushing his vocals to much on the fast songs, maybe he would sound better midtempo paced band.
