Well, yes, unless the precedent set doesn't make any sense. If someone voted for Avantasia in death metal, then obviously I would say something. It just makes it easier not to have to ask people to move their votes around because some of them won't respond and it makes tallying the votes a pain in the ass.

I am still listening to albums that have been released in '07, so my final list should be compiled by the start of the new year.

When do the threads for the votes close?

I was planning on closing them tomorrow morning, as I said in the original post in each voting thread, but it probably won't hurt anything to leave them open until late in the day on Monday.

That would be good for me. I got a big order of 2007 releases and need time to listen to them all.

That would be good for me. I got a big order of 2007 releases and need time to listen to them all.

Well, I passed the idea along, so unless anyone has a problem with that date (which I doubt), you will have until about 6PM EST on Monday to get all your votes in.
