(Listen to samples of the upcoming disc here: )

Isolate represents the best of both worlds – it’s progressive enough for any fan of technical minded metal but at the same time it’s purely infectious music, they are poised to take their place alongside the upper echelon of progressive metal bands.

Excellent musicianship, add a singer like Michael Eriksen with a voice from heaven and toss it together with hooks, anthemic melodies and enough heavy riffing to stick with you for days

1. A Darkened Mind
2. Abyss
3. Wither
4. Sane No More
5. Arrival Of Love
6. Zero
7. Mouth Of Madness
8. From Childhood's Hour
9. Ultimate Sacrifice

I've tried but i don't like them. Yes they are catchy and accessible as hell but I can't help but feel they sound like a parody band of DT and Symphony X.

And they really need to kick that singer out of the band, Jesus Christ.

No frikin way. He has the voice of prog. Symphony X and DT are to power metalish. Circus Maximas, Zero Hour, Vanden Plas, S.U.E., have proggy vocalists that fit the music perfectly.

Haven't heard Spheric Universe Experience yet, but Zero Hour and Vanden Plas have ok vocalists. CM's singer imo sound more like the Pagan's Mind vocalst who is equally annyoing.

Hmmm... I don't think they sound alike, but to each his own. Btw, I like Pagan's Mind's vocalist too.

PAGAN'S MIND - Celestial Entrance

Now that is one heck of a good album, Metalness its sounds like we have similiar tastes in music.

Nils K. Rue is one of my favourite sings along with D C cooper and Michael Eriksen amongst others its very much each to their own IMHO

They both have a pretty shrieky, 'soaring' kind of vocal style imo, I guess with the intent being to try to entrance the listener. I do understand why they would give people goosebumps etc. but i find it highly irritating. I much prefer singers who sound more normal and down to earth, who entrance you without having to force it. But i agree, to each and his own.

Hey, i was about to make a thread about them, i just got into their music and i am really digging it so far. Really great catchy progmetal. Circus Maximus is also cool, i had a listen to their previous album The 1st Chapter and i thought it was really good. good to se that there are others you appriciate these band. Norway is currently producing some fine progmetal these days, a nice change of pace from all the black metal stuff even though i love that too :dio:

I've always thought that too. Everytime you make a thread it's usually about a band I like. I always look forward to your updates.

Circus Maximus along with Dreamscape musically are probably two of the closest sounding bands DT . CM sounds like a mixture of DT and LTE I liked their debut. Redemption are one prog band who deserve to do well their latest is awesome probably better than DTs would be great to see them with DT and Into Eternity on tour.
