and they are FUCKING BACK. The album is spectacular ... it's dark,heavy...METAL :). It reminds me a lot of ICON but is more midpaced... anyways excellent vocals from Nick Holmes (no Depeche Mode here :) ).

I posted this here becaus I always thought PL is more a Heavy Rock Band than Gothic.

I WILL BUY THIS ALBUM. It's one of those moments that you hope they come but really don't expect them anymore. So after 12 loooong years PL is back.

When Mackintosh plays those otherworldly leads (what a killer guitar sound!) again like he did on Gothic (and a bit on Shades of God) then I will be fully on board with this band once again. In the meantime, I'll just kinda like them.

Yeah, I like it a lot too. Spot on with the Icon comparison, to me In Requiem is like an old boys' Icon, slower than the original, less energetic, and with some modern keyboard/piano insertions. But even if the method is somewhat different, it ultimately comes very close to the spirit of Icon, and this is something I'd never thought I'll see again. One of this year's highlights for me, by far, especially because it came so unexpectedly.
