I have to mention that as much as I liked much of the album already, I have a new respect for Fly after hearing it live :D

Hit. Its definitely their worst so far, though; there's just something bland about it that makes it less amazing then their other albums. Standout tracks are This Will Never End, Otherland, Straight Through the Mirror, Fly, and The New Order.

hit. while it might not hold up against the BG classics, it is by no means a terrible album. Higlights for me: This Will Never End, Fly, Another Stranger Me, and the New Order

Miss, big time. There are too many CDs that are so much better.

Its amazing how much this one has divided opinion - I mean we all knew Holy_Terror and the like were going to hate it before it was even released, but the division its caused among fans of the style is an odd one. Sort of like the new Maiden album, I guess.

I didnt hate it before it came out, for that is impossible. I hated the single, and then I hated the album after I bought it and listened to it a million times. I still love Blind Guardian so I owed it to them to listen to it. I was even a little excited. But not as excited as when ANATO came out, and I liked that one better than this. Alas for me they will never release another Tales from the Twilight World or Nightfall.

From an objective viewpoint it's a hit, because it's surely a good record. I do however feel that I expected more from Blind Guardian, so for them I think it's somewhat of a miss. I chose the objective viewpoint and voted hit though. :)

Tru dat.

It's a hit for me. Not their best, not their worst. A few songs are bland, but others make up for it.

HIT

It's a bit of a grower, but there are enough immediate tracks in Turn the Page, Fly, Another Stranger Me, and Otherland to help you bridge..

This is a modest hit, but it is definitely not one of their better albums. Turn the Page stands head and shoulders above all the other songs on the album, unfortunately.

Definitely a Hit. I really like the album, I believe they reached a limit with ANATO that was simply impossible to keep going that way (although they are doing it, since they announced they´re making a purely orchestral album, that´s the only way to follow ANATO) so they had to put it down a bit, but I believe they did the right thing, probably not the "unpredictable" thing to do, but what the fuck it´s a good album, so it´s a hit for me!

Hit good cd not in my top10 for 2006 but there have been some great releases. Production put me off a bit at first but got used to it and the new drummer does a good job.
