Definitely a top ten album of 2006 for me, but it's a little too "power metal" in my opinion. I can get the straight-forward shit anywhere, but no one, AND I MEAN NO ONE, does folk melodies like Wuthering Heights.

Far From The Madding Crowd has a gold pedastal in my Hallowed Halls, but Shadow Cabinet may have to settle for a sliver.

I agree, it's much more PM than the previous album, but it's still got the Wuthering Heights-sound, just not as many amazing melodies.

I have been listening to this all day and it is damn good. It hasn't hit quite like FFTMC did, but even that album took me a while to get into. Still, so far it is damn awesome and could be in my top 5 for the year.

Holy crap, honestly this album is fucking amazing. Anybody who has not listened to anything by Wuthering Heights needs to do so, and then they need to get this album. I'll bet people who don't normally listen to power/prog metal will even enjoy this. At least check it out.

This album is, indeed, the shit and deserves your money. Excellent muscianship, excellent compositiones, excellent vocals. It is rare that an album such as this comes along, and when it does ... one just have to grab it.
