No definitely-its all needed and should be there, especially in very subjective fields like art and music, but still these people work very hard and they are very good all of them, but they are still human, and sometime you might have a bad day, and you have to perform-what then, suddenly 5000 people think you suck, thats not fair,

Some people have other jobs, and then when one day they arent 100% people dont go bezerk and post comments on the internet about how the numbers you added were off by 2%, i suppose you understand my point-

Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica

I wouldn't really call him an outstanding musician. Good but not great keyboard player and a good vocalist that can't really pull it off live.

wtf???? go watch "For The Sake of Revenge", and THEN we'll talk.

Uuuuh, yeah, I could go watch that DVD that I own again, I could....or I could just use my exisiting memories of the last time I watched it, listened to Songs of Silence and when I saw them in person last year.

He's good. Very good. He just isn't exceptional, and if you think he's a quality live vocalist you're deluding yourself (or tone deaf).

he's not that good on songs of silence, I'll give you that. But when I saw them he slayed, they did Blank File and he hit every single fucking note. and i find better than most singers live on FTSOR.

and you should watch the dvd again anyway. just cuz iz's good. :D

When I saw them live Kakko showed up Mike from Cellador (wasn't suprised). When did you see them Rad?

Ooooooh. :P

I saw them at Sweden Rock last year. Allow me to make myslef more clear: Tony is a very good singer and a good live performer, but he can't hit all the notes he does on record (I know few can, but there are many better than him) and he also has difficulty holding certain notes - there are some songs where he seems to be gasping out the syllables to each word in the faster parts.

I guess I should make myself clear as well. Tony Kakko doesn't belong on this list, but he is a good singer/songwriter.

Don't worry, I do understand your point. As you said, they're all just humans, to err is human. But of course, they should also be open to criticism, negative or positive.
