Been listening to this bands album "Avenger" alot lately and absolutely love it.

I hear alot of Jag Panzer in this band, as well as some Dio and Steel Prophet.

So a fan of any of these bands or just straight 80's style heavy metal should check this out (If anyone hasn't already).

Their site for some samples - http://www.askaband.com/

I saw them live and met them in the late 90s. They are a really cool group of guys, and I would recommend anyone support them.

Oh, and they do the best live cover of The Trooper I've ever heard.

This band sounds very good. Tx for recomandation.
Btw, the verses on Crown Of Thorns are almost identical with Priest's Desert Plains.

I have had that album for years already. I loved it when it came out and still listen to it. Escape Victorious, Crown of Throns, Valkyries are all kick ass songs. There is really no bad songs on the albums. The singer has a real good voice too.

Ive never heard that Priest song before, so I checked it out and I to can hear the similarities. I really like this song now (The Priest one, so thanks to you for that).

I saw them on a USO tour at a US Air Base (Yokota) in Japan in 2000. They were really good, their cover of the Trooper mentioned above, was indeed kickass.
