Am I the only one here who thinks Cellador aren't that awesome and don't live up to the hype NESS created for them. Sure they are talented but Enter Deception is far from the 80+ mark, the production and the overall songwriting could have been better. The music is good but far from original or mind-blowing. The fact that i haven't heard a single Dragonforce song is a plus when listening Cellador, without always comparing them to DF. Right now i'm thinking more of a score around 70. With the talent these guys have should be no problem to release a much better second album.

I think people who appreciate death metal will appreciate Cellador more. Chris gets his influence from early Slayer, Carcass, Helloween, and NES video games. Those four = Cellador.

Well the only reason I see for people, prefering death metal to like Cellador is because they haven't heard enough power metal to make the difference themselves, not so much because of the Slayer or Carcass influences. It's not like i'm criticizing the band (maybe only your over zealous praise). As a pm fan i like it, just not as much as to strike me as something that deserve such praise.

I never said you were criticizing the band. I just wanted to say people who like death and power metal might like Cellador more than others. And, there is no over zealous praise. This is my friend’s band. If you had a friend who formed a band and they turned out this big, you would be just as excited. My praise is justified by their talent alone, but the fact that I've known Chris since I was in 6th grade makes it that much more exciting. I’ve also known Val since my senior year.

However, I can see how annoying it must get when I post everything related to the band.

I should have mentioned that what I said in the brackets was a joke just to annoy you, it doesn't mean it's not true though. You are praising them too much, but that is totally understandable. I'd probably do the same thing if I'd knew someone in a band that is making a breakthrough.

Umm...well kinda. No complains though. It makes a fine joke when a news about Cellador is posted and everyone waits for you to say how much they kick ass.

You wanna fight now. And those "everyone" are 19 guys who wrote the reviews so there, you're officially OWNED!!!!
We're talking about opinions here after all, right. Bringing someone else's opinion to back up yours is lame imo.

Besides I said I like it and was thinking of a score of 70. Those come really close.
