Like I mentioned in the other thread, I found some sweet deals at Sensory. You all know of Dreamaker, Dark Moor and Fairyland (or you should since Elisa C. Martin sang/sings for all three bands) and Fifth Reason I haven't listened to yet. The other two bands are Prototype (see other thread) and Behind The Curtain, both I think are worth mentioning as many of you may dig them.
I really know nothing of Behind The Curtain except for what is described on Senory's page. The description and the $4 price tag just made too much sense! They are another prog-metal band, the vocalist sounds a bit like Roy Khan from Kamelot, musically they're similar to some of the other proggy bands I like, Zero Hour, Degree Absolute, Redemption, etc., but I think they're a bit lighter, not as heavy. Quality-wise, though, they're right up there with the rest. This is a damn good album for a band I've never heard of. Whether or not it has that non-expiring shelf life, I'm not sure. I've listened through only twice since yesterday, but so far I get the impression that I will continue to love this album!
Till Birth Do Us Part came out in 1999, they have a previous demo and a promo EP from 2001, but I think this is likely the only release that'll be easy to find. Since there is no website for this band out there, or much info at that, I uploaded one song to yousendit. Check it out! If it expires before you hear it let me know and I'll re-upload it.
