Maybe the best rocking metal out of UK's NWOBHM

Their first three albums (Rock Until You Drop, Wiped Out & All For One) are absolute classics in my book but I also like the "MTV era" Raven a.k.a. Stay Hard & The Pack is Back...

what do you guys think of this grand underrated band ? :D

They must have been a very overlooked band, 'cause I haven't heard about them :?

I just recently purchased Raven - "All for one." This will be my first time hearing them.

I could vote hit, just because they were so influential, but I'll wait to hear them for my self.

Well the first three albums are a bit fucking HIT. Man Rock til You Drop is quite possibly the most rockingest album of all time. Good call on this one Stefan. This band is fucking awesome. FOR THE FUTURE!!!

The first 3 albums rule, but I like most of their material anyway. Big overlooked hit.

I just got "All For One," and this is some good classic metal. I'll have to get more by these guys.

try first their first two albums (Rock Til You Drop & Wiped Out)... then if you liked it, I also find Stay Hard & The Pack is Back quite enjoyable ! :D

btw, I wasn't meaning you in the lot of uncurious metalheads in the Inferno thread 8)

Yeah, talk about deranged nwobhm, then you're talking about raven!! They rank amongst my fave bands of the era, alongside Saxon, Maiden, Angelwitch, Satan, Cloven Hoof etcetc, but none were as demented as they were!

MIND OVER METAAAAAAL!!

Their 90's material is more bland, but from what I hear they sort of made a resurrgence, havent heard any of it though.

They were the second show I ever saw and All for One was one of the fist (outside of Maiden and Saxon) NWOBHM bands I had a tape from. Sledghammer rock, not bad shit......lol.

I would say hit but def second tier below the big ones from the movement.

Hit.

That took no time to decide. I don't see how anyone who's heard "Rock Till You Drop" can vote anything but hit.
