Hey all

Has anyone heard the new Majesty album yet. Its only been out for about a week in some places of the world.
After the great Reign In Glory, this album should go off

Image

In the vein of Manowar and Cryonic Temple, the track list looks cool, metal and cheesy

1. "The Blessing"
2. "Hellforces"
3. "Dance With The Demon"
4. "Sons Of A New Millennium"
5. "Heavy Metal Desire "
6. "March For Victory "
7." Like A Raptor"
8. "Guardians of the Dragon Grail"
9. "Freedom Heart"
10. "Fight Forever"
11. "Nowhere Man"
12. "Metal Law 2006"

So, anyone heard it? Own it?

No, but I'll get to work on finding it.

Reign in Glory is an album I need to listen to more often.

I actually just found a guy who has it and are downloading as fast as i can. I expect to buy it, but just wanna hear it NOW!

The intro is great, massive buildup to the title track, which is typical Majesty. Great song. Upto the 2nd track now, not as good as the first, but still has a cool beat and manowar type slow riff

Since my last post in this thread i have bought this album and deleted the mp3's (as i always do).
I can say that this is a damn fine release by Majesty, just as good if not better than Reign In Glory. Its a nice progression in their sound and i think they have become more consistent with their songs. Of course the lyrics are simple and cheesy, but with bands such as Majesty, thats what you expect, and thats not saying they are bad, not at all.

Those who enjoyed Reign In Glory will also enjoy Hellforces. I am interested to read what the Metal Reviews review will be like with this album.

For me, the best tracks would include the title track with the intro of course, Dance With The Demon, Guardians Of The Dragon Grail, Fight Forever, Nowhere Man and Metal Law, which has the guest vocals of none other than Udo Dirkschneider.

I give Majesty's Hellforces 92/100

I like it as well. There are some songs far better than others, but it has a really nice feel, especially if the songs are played really loud on a surround type environment. Been listening to it alot while I organize my cd collection alphabetically. It only makes me wish Manowar would come out with a new one, because tho the two bands are similar; I really prefer Eric Adams.

I'm glad that with this album, Majesty moved away from the typical Manowar sound. Even though they are both similar, now they sound different from one another. Thats what i liked about Hellforces, that it wasnt a manowar album clone.

I also love Adams' voice as it is distinctive and unique, but again, Tarek Maghary's voice is also distinctive and unique and different to Adams.

I'm sure a lot more people will catch onto Majesty and get their hands on Hellforces and should hunt down their previous albums, especially Reign In Glory

Yeah. I have all of them except the debut album. Is it any good ,because I see it at websites in the bargain sections due to its age.

Guardians Of The Dragon Grail has to be one of the cheesiest, and therefore most enjoyable, songs this side of ... well, everything Manowar has ever released.
