I just feel privileged to be in a band that has something to say that will be interesting instead of “party all night” or “I’ll punch you in the face” or even “I pack a chainsaw and I’ll skin your ass if I’m having a bad day.” I mean who cares everyone has a bad day. But I guess it has its place if people want to get out and mindlessly rock its what they do. I’m not really one to bash on anybody’s style but I prefer something with a little more substance.

^ Awesome.

Great interview, great questions. He gave a lot of intelligent answers.

Hail Nevermore!

Yeah, good interview, but goddammit would someone ask Warrell about some Sanctuary re-releases? :D I would love for these albums to be remastered and re-released!

I like This Godless Endeavour, and that guy seemed passionate about the music.. I still don't know how to categorize their sound, though; perhaps that's for the best, haha.

Nice interview, and very interesting answers. I started to listen to nevermore like 2 weeks ago and I really started to like their music and their amazing solos. Keep on bringing good music to the world.

About the crappy Mtv culture, I have the feeling it is not only in the Us, I lived in Germany for a while and Mtv was the same crap an in the Us, or worse. Maybe people do not pay as much attention to it and therefore metal culture is more widespread.

I rarely read through a whole interview (because they are mostly boring.. or maybe I just dont like the band) but I read all of this one, I liked it alot, good questions, intellegent answers.

It took me awhile to get into this band though, I first heard them because of this site like.. 2 years ago abouts when I was just a lurker without an account, on the sounds page they had, The River Dragon Has Come and I liked it enough to keep it around and listen to it now and then.. Anyways, long story short, I bought Dead Heart, loved it and I currently have other albums in MP3 which I plan on buying next time I go out for music. Nevermore is teh great.

Nice interview. Its good to see musicians who still put a bit of thought not only into their music, but how they put themselves across to their fans.

I liked when Sheppard's bass was audible in the earlier Nevermore albums, he is good. He seems a little more down to earth than Dane, and therefore I like him more. Godless Endeavor was a good album.
