I recall this being very good, but would have to relisten before commenting on "classic" status.

Not seeing how this is a classic.
This band has never produced anything that deserves classic status. I think (and I've mentioned this before) there ought to be some guidelines as to what a classic album is. Just becuase you think it is really, really neato doesn't cut it, sorry.

I'm in total agreement. I remember getting flak for my Misfits pick, but I think you guys were wrong. However, I couldn't wholly convince myself that Lucifuge was a classic and hence just gave it a great score. Some kind of objectivity needs to be restored.

I will however be reviewing Dopesmoker and hopefully Acid Bath as classics soon if I play my cards right and so fuck whoever disagrees with those picks.

Acid Bath was good, but I'll need serious convincing.

I listened to this throughout the day and it was great. This being the first time listening to the band I didn't know what to expect. I don't care much about the argument on whether it's a classic or not, however that rating is what brought it to my attention.. I liked everything about this album and would encourage anyone interested in BM to check it out if they haven't yet. Even though I may be the only one frequenting the site that hasn't heard this yet.
