Very interesting choice.

Not sure I agree, but a very good album with a band that had a very different take on (somewhat) black metal.

Haven't listened to it in ages (pun unintended), but I remember the first and last song being especially epic.

In 20 years of metal I've never heard of these guys, even from the rabid Black Metallers who turned up to my radio show in full corpse paint and spiked gauntlets.
