Shit, I felt emotional reading this. Thank you, Zadok.

My personal favorite :dio:

So damn good. My ex and I used to sing Mystery together for giggles. The title track is probably one of the best Dio tracks. Yeah.

Well written Zad, and my personal favorite of his solo work. The title track is the definition of Epic.

The weakest of the first 3 studio albums IMO, but the first 4 are undeniable classics. Absolutely brilliant. I get the feeling some of the songs on LIL and SH are filler, but Dio's filler would be the better songs on Rainbow's old albums and that is saying something.

For the record, Dio wrote the songs for the most part, not that cocksucker Vivian. Vivian's role was much like that of Steve Vai on "Slip of the Tongue." He was there to embellish what was already established. That said, the solos are magical. Only Mr. Lifeson was writing thematic storytelling solos like that at the time that I can think of immediately.

Is there anything Addy can't relate back to Rush?

Well, I could have said The Cutting Crew or Big Country, but no one but me would have taken that as a compliment.

The first two Dio releases are simply freaking awesome.

Thank you R.J.D. - you are a rock/ metal legend and your great attitude toward the world will always be missed and admired.
